This year has been unpredictable and interesting. Probably the most paradoxical one for the majority of us, if not all. As we are about to welcome a fresh year, I thought of giving everyone a simple present. I made these minimalist 2021 Calendars, available in 3 designs.
If you are interested in using any of these, you may find the PDF file through this link:
Hello, everyone! How are you? Wow. I feel like it has been so long since I last shared a story here. 2020 has been a chaos, but the latter part of this year was even more chaotic and messy for me. But not every mess is a bad mess, okay? Haha.
Anyway…
One gift that 2020 has given us is time to pause. And pretty much everyone else in the world, I too, have developed new interests and one of them is listening to podcasts!
Seriously, last year, I didn’t even know what podcast means. I just discovered it through Joyce Pring (I will share more about her podcast in a while). I started to occasionally listen to a podcast latter part of 2019, but this year, I became a podcast babe. Haha I just adore how productive I can still get while nurturing my mind. Like, I can draw or fold our clothes and listen to a podcast at the same time!
Just like what the title of this post says, I will share with you the list of podcasts I have been listening to the past months. Yay! (This is in a random order.)
As mentioned earlier, I learned about podcasts through Joyce Pring. I was listening to her talk at Kerygma Conference last year, and she mentioned AWJP on Spotify. I later looked into it and started listening. I love it, and I super duper like Joyce’s content. Listening to her is like listening to an older sister and friend, telling you about her experiences or the things that she, herself, would like to apply in her life. If you are looking for a content that will help you understand #adulting better, this podcast is the one!
Shot of Sanity started to be a lockdown segment in AWJP with Aaron Atayde. Later on though, Aaron started his own podcast as well. And instead of him, guesting at AWJP, Joyce is now the one guesting at S.O.S. They talk about adulting, life, love and other things that keep them sane.
If you are looking for a podcast that will help you with your communication skills, this one is for you! Matt Abrahams, the man behind this, is a lecturer of Strategic Communication at Standford Graduate School of Business. This podcast is not merely just him. He always have guests in the podcast. Each episode is not super lengthy, but they are all rich with information. Worth checking out, I promise!
I am totally single, but I enjoy listening to this podcast by Megan Young and Mikael Daez. They not only talk about the rainbows of their relationship, but as well as the challenges that came with it. They also talk about money matters and other fun topics, like childhood. I appreciate how raw and simple this couple is!
This podcast just started a few months ago, also a result of the lockdown. This is by AJ Garcia and Ghe Negado. They talk about verious topics which are relatable and helpful to both young adulds and adults. They also accept #LihimNaLiham, wherein anyone could anonymously send them a letter about anything, and then they will talk about it in the podcast. Listen to them, guys!
Before Walwal Sesh became a podcast, I was able to attend their in-person event 2 years ago. That was where I knew Dr. Gia Sison and Sir Renz Arago. In this podcast, they are joined by another member, Vino. They talk about mental health, inclusion, LGBT and even sex education. They are fun to listen to! If your mind is open to sensitive topics, you might want to listen to them too.
These are the podcasts that I consistently listen to, but there are more which I occasionally do or just learned about recently. Here’s a quick list.
